International Winter Road Congress

http://www.aipcrquebec2010.org		You are cordially invited to join us at the World Road Association's (PIARC's) XIII International Winter Road Congress taking place in the city of Québec February 8 to 11, 2010. Come experience winter service in a country where the people have learned to live in harmony with this demanding season!

This 13th edition of the International Winter Road Congress will be a bilingual event where the official languages will be French and English. To this end, simultaneous interpretation and document translation services will be provided for the technical sessions at the congress.

Although 80 % of the people of Québec speak French, over 40 % are bilingual (French/English), the highest rate in Canada.

Forced to live with winter, the people of Québec have learned to make the most of it. This icy season provides a number of joys and delights for Québecers. They have accordingly become, over the years, "experts in winter festivities", as demonstrated by the Québec Winter Carnival, the biggest winter carnival in the world. We hope to see you in the city of Québec in February 2010!
